Mecanum wheels, also known as Omni wheels or on wheels, consist of a hub with rollers oriented 45° to the axis of rotation. To accomplish this, each wheel turns independently. To move side to side, pairs of wheels oppose one another, acting like a worm gear. We have EasyMech mecanum wheels ranging from 60mm to 152mm diameter, for both left and right sides. The design of the mecanum wheels enables the wheel to propel your robot forward, backward and directly sideways.
