This is a large Adaptive gripper for Niryo One six-axis open-source robot. Here they called it Adaptive because With this gripper you can pick objects that are harder to pick with other kinds of grippers, ex: round objects, a cup of tea, apple, egg. The gripper comes with Dynamixel XL-320 servo having a DC Motor + Reduction Gearhead + Controller + Driver + Network fully integrated into one servo module. The built-in clutch in the servo provides more durability to the servo and allows this gripper to pick heavy objects easily. The gripper is designed such that the two fingers will always stay parallel ensuring that the object gripped by the gripper won’t slide forward.
You can be sure that the object will be smoothly picked and always in the centre of the fingers. This gripper is perfect for dealing with fragile items, or when the shape is too uncommon. You can also pick hollow objects on the inside (ex: aluminium tube).
