This is a CUAV C-RTK 9Ps Positioning Module | High Precision GPS RTK GNSS Pixhawk.

C-RTK 9Ps Positioning Module is a centimeter-level GNSS module. Using two c-RTK modules, one installed on the base and the other installed on the UAV, a real-time GNSS system is designed. By using dual GPS on the plane, you can replace the compass and have a dual GPS yaw. This is desirable due to the error of the compass coming from electromagnetic interferences, suitable for environments with high noise. Compatible with open-source autopilots like PX4 or Ardupilot, this RTK module is an ideal choice for aerial performance and agricultural applications. You can have high-precision take-off, landing, and missions.

A ublox F9P module is used inside to support multiple frequencies as well as the reception from different satellite systems — GPS, Beidou, Glonass, and Galileo.

Cuav En 01Due to using multiple satellites and multiple frequencies, and with the help of advanced RTK algorithms, the position of the base station converges and provides centimeter-level differential data in less than half a minute. The update rate of the RTK algorithm is at 20Hz.

The base and rover units are the same modules with different configuration parameters and different antennas. That just makes it easy to use them in place of each other by just changing a few parameters. However, the antenna used on the rove has a 2dBi gain, while the base station uses a 5dBi gain antenna. The modules are only 30g and can work in harsh environments and temperatures from –40°C to +85°C.

Dual C-RTK 9Ps Positioning Module can estimate yaw which can replace the magnetic compass. This is useful for flight in complex magnetic field environments such as close to power lines.

Cuav En 05Fast switch between sky and rover unit

CUAV C-RTK 9Ps Positioning Module adopts the same design as the two units (sky unit and rover unit), and the two units use the same firmware. You only need to load different configuration parameters to complete the fast switching.
