This quadcopter frame with a wheelbase of 500mm is specially intended to provide lots of mounting space. It is well known for aerial video shooting and photography as it has a special Gimbal housing provision at the front. The TBS quadcopter frames outperform similar quads in terms of FPV range and video link quality.
It features a battery plate in the tail position. These large-sized quadcopter frames equip larger motors and batteries, increasing the power capabilities of your multirotor. This advantage results in longer flight time, hence they are perfect for your aerial videography.
It comes with a PDB(Power Distribution Board) to power up the Quadcopter. And is also designed to fit standard flight controllers/PDB, FPV cameras, and also FPV transmitters and antennas.
The frame has a wheelbase of 500mm and weighs around 400gm. It features a mounting tab at the rear end on the bottom plate of the mainframe for mounting Batteries.
The added lift capacity makes this frame ideal for carrying larger payloads such as camera systems and Gimbal.
The frame comes with pre-threaded brass sleeves for all of the frame bolts, so attaching the arms to the mainframe is done within a few minutes. Also, it requires one size of bolt for the overall build and thus a unique one-size hex wrench which makes hardware mounting very convenient. This feature of TBS Quadcopter Frames makes them so easy to assemble and disassemble.

This is what I like about Robu. High-quality parts. Though a replica, this frame’s cutting was perfect, screw holes were precisely drilled and there was no trouble assembling it. Great product.

Bolts Size: M2.5 for arms and M3 for standoffs
Slightly misaligned but little bit of adjustment and fits perfectly. Keep the screws loose, align all the screws and then fix it properly or else it will never match.
Try to assemble upper plate to the arms first and then bottom plate….just a suggestion.
Major disadvantage is the mounting of FC is on the top plate, not secured against the crash. So be aware of that.

Though the frame is of good quality, this is not the original Team Black Sheep (TBS) frame… The mounting screws for the arms on the bottom plate were just not aligning well at all… This same happened with my previous F330 clone purchased from this site itself… That is very annoying… Rest all is fine as expected.

Firstly the delivery service was really fast , i got it by the 3rd day .Now talking about the frame, i would definately say, that the quality and standard of the parts are really good, though its not the original TBS frame which had circuits and channels embeded into the main frame for ease of connection. The drilled holes for mounting the arms were slightly ofset during production, that really created a problem during assembling the upper part of the frame. another thing to be mentioned is the placement of the anti vibration mounting for the flight controller.It would have been betr if it was mounted on the lower part, then it would have been robust, leading to less prone of fc to get damaged. Overall i love the frame and the design , and i am satisfied with it
