The RP2350 is Raspberry Pi’s latest high-performance, secure microcontroller, offering a substantial upgrade over the popular RP2040. It features a higher core clock speed, double the on-chip SRAM, and a unique dual-core, dual-architecture design—supporting either dual Arm Cortex-M33 cores or dual Hazard3 RISC-V cores.
Designed with robust security in mind, the RP2350 includes Arm Trust Zone, secure boot, SHA-256 acceleration, a hardware true random number generator (TRNG), 8KB of antifuse OTP for secure key storage, and fast glitch detectors. These security features are fully documented and openly accessible, providing a transparent and professional development environment.
Additionally, three powerful Programmable I/O (PIO) co-processors with twelve independent state machines allow for flexible, software-defined interfacing.
