The BMA421 Accelerometers is an ultra-small, triaxial low-g acceleration sensor designed for low-power consumer electronics applications. Accelerometers features 12-bit digital resolution and embedded intelligence, enabling precise motion detection and step counting in smartphones and wearables with minimal power consumption (25 µA for always-on step counting). The sensor offers programmable measurement ranges of ±2 g, ±4 g, ±8 g, and ±16 g, and supports both SPI and I2C digital interfaces. With a low noise density and a current consumption of 150 μA in full operation, the BMA421 is optimized for efficient user interaction, gesture recognition, and advanced power management in mobile devices.
